The Real Consensus on Climate Change, May 24 @ 6:30PM, Johnson 102
Here’s an announcement from the Student Chapter of the AMS regarding an event we will hold next Thursday evening. A promotional flyer is attached. Please feel free to spread the word and pass this on to other appropriate (non-atmos) email lists!
"The real consensus on climate change" is a forum-like event sponsored by the Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society at UW. Panelists with expertise in climate science and the impacts of global warming on the atmosphere and ocean will briefly address and disprove common misconceptions held by some on climate change. Each panelist will speak for about 5-7 minutes, and the session will then open to the audience for Q&A. Start time is 6:30PM, on Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Johnson Hall, Room 102.
